Tips before you buy
- Compare variants, not just models. The 6GB/128GB or 8GB/128GB version is usually the best value. Avoid 4GB RAM if you can.
- Use bank offers smartly. An instant bank discount can push a phone that is listed above ₹15,000 into your budget.
- Look for IP64 or better. Indian monsoons and dusty roads are hard on phones.
- Check 5G bands. Phones sold officially in India support the main n78 band. Support for n28 helps on Jio in many areas.
Our verdict
If you want the best overall package, the Redmi 15 5G is hard to beat for its battery, big 144Hz screen and IP64 rating. Choose the POCO M7 Pro 5G if display quality matters most, and the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G if you want a phone that stays updated for many years.

FAQs
AMOLED or LCD: which is better?
AMOLED gives deeper blacks, richer colours and usually better battery life with dark mode. A good LCD is still fine, but if you watch a lot of video, AMOLED is worth it.
